Travellers considering a holiday in Durban might be interested to read Durban Fashion Week is set to take place in June.
This popular event takes place between June 25th and 28th and sees some of South Africa's best new designers display their latest creations in a series of shows at the Suncoast Casino and Entertainment World.
A host of international talent will also see their creations take to the catwalk during the week. So far, South African designers Gideon, Kluk CGDT and Karen Monk Klijnstra have been confirmed for the event, with more to be announced in the run-up to the fashion extravaganza.
With a number of VIPs and celebrities also set to descend on Durban for the glitzy event, June may be the ideal time for travellers to take holidays - or even honeymoons - in the city.
Durban is the third largest metropolis in South Africa and boasts attractions such as its spectacular beaches, botanical gardens, snake parks and prime diving spots.
