Botswana safari holidays in the Okavango delta will soon become a more accessible option with the opening of two new lodges.
In August this year, Conservation Corporation (CC) Africa will open two new sites on a private 50,000-hectare area in the heart of the delta.
Xarana tented camp and Xudum delta lodge will have the capacity to welcome 18 guests each and will adopt an aesthetic style to reflect the nature of Botswana, with decorations including paper canoes and ornamental hippos and crocodiles.
Xudum will be isolated on its own island, with nine suites in chocolate and ebony tones, as well as rooftop sleeping spots, plunge pools and lofty hideouts for game viewing.
Xarana will incorporate nine safari tents with a lighter colour scheme of khaki and soft pink and locations offering stunning views of the delta.
Steve Fitzgerald, chief executive of CC Africa, described the game viewing on offer during Botswana safari holidays as "among the finest in southern Africa" and said the company will be doubling its capacity in the country in the coming months.
