People on South Africa holidays will soon notice the signs of substantial development in the Eastern Cape province, according to reports.
The region is seeing the benefits of investor confidence, with billions of rand being channelled into potential tourism hotpots, including golf estates and retail developments.
According to analysts, the development boom is a result of success in South African sectors including tourism and exports, according to SouthAfrica.info, the country's official gateway.
One of the locations that is seeing a substantial benefit from investor confidence is Nelson Mandela Bay, which is being seen as a growth hub in terms of industry and tourism.
Developments planned for this area include a 10,000 square metre shopping complex.
Golf estates will be built in Walmer, Fairview and Greenbrushes, while a new hotel in Summerstrand will offer guests panoramic views over Algoa Bay.
