People on Cape Town holidays and honeymoons in South Africa over the coming weeks may be aware of a jovial atmosphere in the air during the Vodacom Funny Festival.
This event began on June 17th at Cape Town's Baxter Theatre and will continue to entertain visitors until July 13th.
People on holiday in various locations in the Western Cape area will be able to enjoy the festival, with township tours taking place in Liberty Promenade, Khayelitsha and Gugulethu.
Holidaymakers who are more interested in music than comedy will also find plenty to keep them entertained in the Western Cape over the coming weeks, with the Standard Bank Jazz Festival running from June 26th to July 5th.
This event will involve performers from Sweden, Australia, Britain, Norway, Mozambique, the US and others, who will provide jazz music for no fewer than 16 hours a day.
