Day 1
You will be met at Maun Airport by your safari guide and transferred to the small town of Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta.

An optional game flight over the Okavango Delta can be arranged to get a different view of the uniqueness of this special area, as you relax in this amazing wildlife area. There is also the option of a guided crocodile tour in the vicinity of our camp.

Settle into your mobile tented camp and relax in this wildlife wilderness.

Please note: Maun airport does not have accessible lifting equipment, so an aisle chair will be used to carry you to and from the aircraft. Power chairs are also not accepted by Air Botswana, so manual wheel chairs must be used.
Day 2
We depart Maun after an early breakfast and travel for 3-hours to the Central Kalahari Game Reserve.

The Kalahari Desert is one of the world’s last unspoilt ecosystems and one of Africa’s greatest wilderness areas. In this land of far horizons, we stop to examine some of the amazing succulent desert plants and game which have adapted to survive in such harsh conditions, before checking into camp in the late afternoon.
Days 3 To 4
Today we explore the vast Kalahari Plains, setting off early each morning to take advantage of the best game viewing conditions of the day. Wildlife is surprisingly plentiful in the semi-desert conditions of these red sand dunes.

Of the many species of mammals and reptiles that have successfully adapted to the harsh desert conditions, the most famous is the black-maned lion. Other predators include leopard, cheetah and hyena. You should also see water independent antelope such as oryx, eland, springbok and blue wildebeest before returning to camp at around 09h00 for breakfast.

The rest of the morning can be spent relaxing at camp, reading or bird watching, before setting out again in the late afternoon for another game drive. We hope to see the brown and spotted hyena, black-backed jackals, the curious meerkats, yellow mongoose, porcupines, honey badgers, bat-eared foxes, Cape foxes, African wild cats and many other interesting animals. Bird life is also prolific (260 different species - including over 20 raptors). In the evening relax and enjoy the wonderfully clear skies of the great Kalahari!

You will see some of Africa’s most unusual animals in the Kalahari and many of the “great cats” – lion, cheetah and leopard - but the vegetation does not support elephants, rhino or buffalo
Day 5
Today we travel to our Bushman Camp, situated in a private concession on the western side of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve.

Here we will be privileged to observe the lifestyle of the Bushman, including their hunting methods and how they gather food and make traditional fires.
Day 6
Today you have the unique privilege of observing the life and culture of the Kalahari Bushman.

See their amazing skills in "reading" the signs of the Bushveld and understand how they have survived for so many centuries in such a seemingly hostile environment. Even the youngest members of each family know how to distinguish between the myriad of tracks in the sand - telling them much about each animal's exact behaviour!

In the evening you will be entertained by traditional Bushman song and dance.
Day 7
Today we return to Maun, after our long journey out of the Kalahari.

Afternoon is at leisure to relax around the swimming pool at our lodge.
Day 8
Today we travel 3-hours to Moremi Game Reserve, situated in the eastern sector of the famous Okavango Delta. We stop en-route for a simple lunch of sandwiches and fruit, before continuing towards our camp. Within an hour of leaving Maun, it is possible to view the first of the wildlife inhabiting this renowned and unspoilt wildlife sanctuary.

Late afternoon check in to our tented camp in the western sector of Moremi Game Reserve, settle in and relax in this pristine wilderness under spectacular blue African skies. In the evening enjoy sitting around the campfire, chatting to your guide and fellow guests.
Days 9 To 10
The seasonal Okavango Delta is flooded annually by the great Okavango River, which flows inland from Angola into the vast Kalahari Desert – never finding the sea but instead forming a great inland delta, whose waters are absorbed by the dry Kalahari Desert, making it one of the great natural wonders of the world and an amazing water wilderness and wetlands ecosystem.

Comprising 6,000 square miles of crystal clear channels, serene lagoons and a myriad of islands, the Okavango Delta is a natural oasis in the middle of the Kalahari for a vast variety of wildlife and birds of all descriptions.

Enjoy game viewing and bird watching in Moremi Game Reserve, including seeing some of the larger species that inhabit the Okavango Delta such as elephants, buffalo and hippo. Also enjoy a sunset cruise on the river. In the evening relax on the outdoor viewing deck, before dining around a blazing fire under balmy African skies.
Day 11
After some final game viewing in Moremi Game Reserve, we travel 3-hours to Maun Airport for your flight home.
