Day 1
You will be met at Cape Town Airport and transferred to your hotel in this beautiful city, within sight of Table Mountain.
 
Check in and relax in your magnificent surroundings.
Day 2
Today is free for independent sightseeing in Cape Town.
 
We recommend you purchase an optional day pass for the red route of the convenient Hop-Off Bus, which stops at all Cape Town’s key sights and beaches. Start by ascending Table Mountain by cable car (optional) to enjoy one of the world’s most famous views. Continue to Camps Bay beach and then explore the shops and many other attractions of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, which is also the centre of Cape Town’s nightlife.
Days 3 To 4
At leisure to explore the beautiful city of Cape Town independently.
 
Choose one of the many local activities such as a visit to Robben Island, the infamous prison home of Nelson Mandela (advance booking essential in season); explore the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront or simply relax on golden Camps Bay beach – the choice is yours!
Day 5
This morning you will be collected from your hotel around 08.15 for your circular small group tour of the beautiful Garden Route from Cape Town.
 
We leave Cape Town via Du Toits Kloof Pass to Worcester and traverse the famous Route 62 passing through Montagu and the small towns of Robertson, Barrydale and Calitzdorp, where the true diversity of landscapes is highlighted through the ever-changing semi desert scenery.
 
Enjoy lunch along the way (included), before continuing to the ostrich capital of Oudtshoorn. Check into your hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner (included).
Day 6
This morning we visit the world famous Cango Caves for a guided tour of its ancient stalagmites and stalactites. We continue to a local Ostrich Farm to see these strange flightless birds in their natural surroundings, where we enjoy lunch (included).
 
In the afternoon we visit Cango Wildlife Ranch to see crocodiles & cheetah close up, before driving over the spectacular Outeniqua Pass to George. From Wilderness, enjoy the scenic drive along the Garden Route to the oyster capital of Knysna. Check in to your hotel and enjoy spectacular lagoon views and dinner (included).
Day 7
Today enjoy the quaint town of Knysna, including a picnic lunch (included) and a guided boat trip on the Keurbooms River.
 
Continue with our scenic drive through Wilderness and Dolphin Point to Mossel Bay, where the Portuguese navigator Bartholemew Diaz landed and erected a cross. You can also visit the famous Post Office tree, where early sailors left mail for homebound ships, before checking into our hotel and enjoying dinner (included).
Day 8
This morning enjoy a game experience at Botlierskop Nature Reserve, before continuing to the historic town of Swellendam for lunch (included).
 
Travel overland for 5-hours through the apple orchards of Elgin and Sir Lowry’s Pass to beautiful Cape Town, where you will be dropped off at the airport around 18.30 for your flight home.
