Day 1
You will be met at Windhoek Airport and transferred to your hotel.
 
Check in and relax under warm blue Namibian skies.
Day 2
This morning depart Windhoek around 08h00 for your small group tour to Etosha National Park.
 
Leaving Windhoek we travel northwards via Okahandja, where Kavango woodcarvers practise their trade at a large open air craft market on the outskirts of the town. We continue to the world famous Etosha National Park and check into our hotel near the southern gate.
Day 3
Today is devoted purely to the abundant wildlife of the famous Etosha National Park, one of the largest wildlife conservation areas in Africa, surrounding an enormous salt pan that is the size of the Netherlands.
 
During drier seasons it becomes an expanse of white cracked mud, shimmering with mirages and spiralling dust devils.  Waterholes along the southern edge frequently offer a rewarding game viewing experience, including several rare species such as black and white rhino.
 
This park is home to four of the Big 5, elephant, lion, leopard and rhino (as the terrain does not support buffalo) and its waterholes support a rich diversity of other mammals and birds, including species such as the black-faced impala, roan, cheetah and Namibia’s smallest antelope, the Damara dik-dik.
Day 4
Enjoy a superb day of game viewing today in Etosha National Park as we travel from the southern sector of the park and through the central section to the eastern gate
 
Etosha is home to over 100 different species of mammals and over 350 different birds, so outstanding game viewing is assured. Your guide will also introduce you to the complex subject of managing such an enormous conservation area. We leave Etosha in the afternoon and drive to our hotel.
Day 5
After breakfast we travel northwards towards Namibia's lush Caprivi region.
 
En route we stop at the Hoba Meteorite, the largest known meteorite in the world which crashed to earth some 80,000 years ago. We continue through the Kavango region, which is famous for its woodcrafters, to the western border of Bwabwatwa Game Park.
 
In the late afternoon we check into our lodge situated on the lush banks of the Kavango River, with the optional opportunity of a sundowner cruise that also visits Popa Falls.
Day 6
Today enjoy a game drive into Mahango Game Reserve, which is home to rare and endangered animal species such as puku, letchwe, roan and sable, which in turn attract a large variety of predators such as lion; leopard and even the highly endangered wild dog.
 
The park is divided into three different habitats - the Kavangao River, the flood plains known as Omurambas, and dense woodlands - which combine to create a habitat for over 300 different bird species.
Day 7
Our journey takes us east through Bwabwatwa National Park, along the narrow strip of land that forms Caprivi. This park was proclaimed in 1990 with the Kwando River as its western border and is renowned for its rich wildlife and abundant bird varieties. It forms part of an ancient migration route for a variety of game species moving north from Botswana into Namibia.
 
En route we visit a traditional Caprivi Village to learn more about Kavango customs and traditions, before checking into our lodge situated along the banks of the mighty Zambezi River.
Day 8
Continuing eastwards along the Caprivi, we travel through kiaat forests and past local homesteads to Katima Mulilo situated on the banks of the Zambezi River that forms their natural border with Zambia.
 
After completing immigration formalities we enter Chobe National Park in Botswana, renowned for its huge elephant population and giant baobab trees. Drop off at your lodge near Kasane where your group tour ends.
Day 9
Today is devoted to game viewing in Chobe National Park. Note: game drives are optional extras, if not included in your lodge package (see hotel details below).
 
Rise at dawn to take advantage of the best game viewing conditions of the day and enjoy a thrilling open-top game viewing drive into the great Chobe National Park. This region is home to some of Botswana’s most spectacular wildlife, as well as abundant bird life.
  
Chobe is home to vast herds of buffalo and elephant, as well as numerous other species which roam in profusion and diversity. During the dry season, vast elephant herds migrate from both south and north to congregate in their thousands along the Chobe River – the largest concentration of elephants in the whole of Africa! Also hope to see lion, leopard, cheetah, giraffe, hippo, kudu, crocodiles, antelope, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons and many other interesting animals before returning to your lodge for breakfast.
 
The rest of the morning is free to relax by the lodge swimming pool or enjoy bird watching by the river. Optional Tiger Fishing can also be arranged. In the late afternoon enjoy a game viewing boat ride on the Chobe River to give a completely different wildlife perspective.
 
After a beautiful African sunset, enjoy the balmy evening and pristine stars of the Milky Way as you have never seen them before – as well as the spectacular Southern Cross.
  
Children < 6 are not allowed on open top game drives
Day 10
Today transfer 15-minutes to the Chobe River ferry to Kazangula in Zambia. After completing immigration formalities, transfer 1-hour to your hotel on the banks of the Zambezi River, near the mighty Victoria Falls.
  
Check in, settle in and relax whilst you catch your first glimpses of the magnificent Smoke That Thunders first discovered by Dr. David Livingstone and still one of the greatest natural wonders of the world. The flow of water over the Victoria Falls is greatest during the wet months (February to June) and are a magnificent sight.
Day 11
Today we recommend an optional visit to the mighty Victoria Falls, which you can explore on foot & enjoy magnificent views. Afterwards you can participate many other optional activities such as a helicopter flight over the falls, an elephant-back safari or simply relax by the swimming pool and enjoy the facilities of your hotel.
  
In the late afternoon we recommend an optional Sunset Cruise on the Zambezi River to see hippos, crocodiles and the abundant bird life.
Day 12
At leisure to relax on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River near the Victoria Falls.
  
Adrenalin seekers can participate in many adventure activities such as canoeing in the gentler rapids above the falls, abseiling or white water rafting in the turbulent gorge below the falls (grade 5), or watch bungi jumping from Victoria Falls Bridge!
  
Take an optional excursion to view the Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwean side of the river*; enjoy a full day safari to the great Chobe Game Reserve in Botswana*; or simply relax on the banks of the great Zambezi River.
 
Passports are required for this day excursion and Zambian re-entry visa.
Day 13
Transfer to Livingstone Airport for your flight home.
