Durban has a warm sub-tropical climate, with hot and humid summers (September to May) & lovely mild winters (June to August). Dec to Feb is the rainy season, with afternoon thunder showers. The Drakensberg has a mountain climate, with warm summers & cold sunny winters with some snow.
