"Jaci and I would like to congratulate you all for making it a holiday we will remember and treasure for many years. It was truly spectacular. Everyone made us so welcome and our guides Murry and Chic were just great. We learned so much from them that our friends are impressed when we go into great detail about the history and information of Africa and the animals. We will definately recommend your company to friends and family and cannot praise you enough for the detail and thoughfullness and efficiency that we experienced with your company. The Royal Livingstone was absolute luxury and so worth the upgrade; the staff in The Heritage were wonderful we felt like part of their family and the safari experience was just awesome!! Especially our stay at Moholoholo ( I think that's how it's spelt). I will live with the memory of my Great White adventure for ever and always bring it into conversations especially when I want to impress someone!! When we decided on a safari holiday we had never heard of 2by2 and were a bit nervous to book on the Internet, as well as a bit nervous to take our three grandchildren to a strange country on an unusual holiday. Absolutely everything went wonderfully well and we all had a superb holiday which we will long remember, we are already under pressure to go again. All at 2by2 were unfailingly helpful, friendly and informative prior to departure, the total cost per head when compared to a similar package was very reasonable considering ours was a tailor made holiday with our own personal game ranger/driver/host in the shape of Alan who was brilliant throughout. We had a wonderful time and would like to thank you for giving us a memorable holiday

From the start to the finish everything went so smoothly and we didn't have to worry about a thing! We thought all our guides were excellent and so knowledgeable and friendly...they definitely enabled us to learn so much more about aspects of life in S. Africa than if we hadn't had them. In particular, Mark at Knysna who had to look after us for nearly a week (including driving us to Addo etc) was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and easy to get on with. The country was fascinating and although we only saw a small bit of it we are definitely smitten!

“The Panorama route resort was fantastic as was Moholoholo. Both had amazing settings and fantastic food. A leopard “marked his territory” over me and Lincoln nearly died laughing. The safari was the most amazing thing I have ever done. We saw all of the big five and the most amazing birds. We were lucky enough to see a giraffe that had been killed by lions and they were eating right by the road. Overall the holiday was fantastic and I will always remember it – particularly seeing a leopard in the wild on our last day. It was so close I could almost have touched it!”

"Well its raining today - our first wet day since our return and what better time to let you know all about our holiday.  The unanimous decision is that it is the best holiday we have ever had. We have visited China, Canada and many of the countries in Europe and whilst we have had some good holidays this beats them all.

The organisation was excellent and our host, Jaco, was a perfect choice. He was there for us at every step but gave us space to go it alone also. His help in bird identification helped us to increase our life list by over 100 birds. He imparted information in a very easy manner so that you didn't feel that you were being lectured. His 'bus' was most comfortable and well cared for.

We rode an ostrich, tasted some wine, did the adventure tour at Cango Caves (using up a whole years supply of adrenalin) walked through Featherbed Reserve (meeting a Derby County fan) and saw four of the Big Five. What more could we have asked.  The hotels were all excellent, the most friendly being Cape Heritage and the most interesting Woodall with its lake and birds. The food at all of them was excellent enabling us to try some of the local dishes and many of the different line fish.

The care and attention which you took on arranging our holiday to encompass all the elements was excellent and made this our best holiday and we would, and will, recommend your service to our friends and anyone else who is considering a visit to South Africa. We will go back as there are so many other things we want to see and do."

"We had an awesome time in South Africa. The details went like clockwork and the drivers/guides you worked with to organise for us were great. Especially wonderful was Cape Town. We LOVED everything about it and starting with the Cape Heritage Hotel. It was lovely and Nick and his team were such fun hosts - it was like being entertained by Basil at Faulty Towers! They are all a joy to speak with and they treated us all like family.

Also had a grand time at Thornybush - Ilsa and Rein and the crew were great. Even had the extra excitement of Monkeys in my tent one morning and a Leopard meandering up to the pool one night. Not good for weak nerves!

We both feel that our extended holiday with your organisation was the icing on the cake, as we experienced another aspect of the country by visiting Durban and the Natal areas. Here we were very fortunate in having the excellent services of Ron who gave us every attention and we certainly benefited from his immense knowledge and experience. All the accommodation was very good and the owners were friendly and helpful too. The Drakensberg visit was delightful, with accommodation at the Cathedral Peak Hotel being ideal to unwind after all our sightseeing, etc. Soon it was time to drive south to Durban for our flights to Johannesburg and London and bid a sad farewell to South Africa where we had absorbed a great deal of the history and seen fantastic scenery and learnt about the culture of the people. Our travel arrangements were well organised and before we knew it we were back at London Heathrow.

"The competitors thoroughly enjoyed their day off at the Drakensberg Sun and several spent the day on the golf course. The route from Swaziland via Rourke's Drift to the Berg and then to the Wild Coast were considered the most spectacular of the event. Unfortunately we had to do some re-routing, because of rain damage, so we could not go over the higher passes. The hospitality we received at Mboyti was incredible, from the welcoming chequered flag on arrival to overflowing wicker breakfast baskets we were given the following morning. Shamwari lived up to expectations but most competitors agreed with us that the Pezula Resort Hotel was the best they had ever stayed in (and we are talking about people who have stayed in the best hotels in the world!) One competitor, who was always towards the end of the field, on finding out about the golf course requested to leave early and developed 'horns' to get there so he could play a 'round'. He declared it the best he has ever played on! All worked well at the Table Bay and all competitors arrived safely. Overall the event was a great success."

"Holiday was fabulous. I can’t even begin to say which bit was best. Saw all the big five.

White water rafting, you have to try this!  Sophie was not allowed to white water raft. I was rather relieved at this when I saw the size of the rapids, I was the only one to fall out and I fell out twice!!

The guides were amazing, answering all the questions asked of them. Jaco even baby sat for us so we could all raft.  Will not bore you with all 329 pictures!!

I am writing to thank you and your colleagues for everything arranged on our recent holiday. We as a family travel extensively although this was our first (but not our last) to Southern Africa and it was also the first time I had used an agency such as yours to help organize things. My family and I really needed this holiday and by using you all the hassles normally associated with a holiday disappeared. The first hotel, The Royal Livingstone, was spectacular and certainly ranks as one of the best hotels we have stayed in. We could easily have spent all our holiday here and will definitely return. You were excellent in organizing the excursions and even in helping to find our lost luggage. It was with some regret that we left Livingstone. Our trip to Cape Town was excellent in every way and helped to appease leaving Livingstone. The hotel was excellent and service, food etc to match. The afternoon teas are definitely not to be missed. The real ‘jewel’ for the holiday was Jamie whose efforts really made this a really special stay. We probably saw twice as much because of his help. He is knowledgeable but with a cheery positive attitude. Please pass on our thanks to him. I look forward to organising my next holiday with you when I next visit Southern Africa.
