CRN10C: Cape Town + Mozambique
Day 1
You will be met at Cape Town Airport and
transferred to your luxury hotel conveniently situated
near the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Check in
and relax in your magnificent surroundings.
Day 2
Today is free for independent sightseeing in Cape
Town.
 You
will be given a day pass for the convenient red
Hop-On Hop-Off Bus, which stops at all Cape Town’s
key sights and beaches. Start by ascending Table
Mountain by cable car (optional) to enjoy one of the
world’s most famous views.
Continue to Camps Bay beach and then explore
the shops and many other attractions of the Victoria
& Alfred Waterfront, which is also the centre of
Cape Town’s nightlife.
Alternatively choose one of the many optional
excursions available, such as a visit to Robben
Island the infamous prison home of Nelson Mandela.
Or simply relax on golden Camp’s Bay beach – the
choice is yours!
Day 3
Today choose between a small group excursion to:
-
 Cape
of Good Hope Nature Reserve where two oceans meet,
and where you may see baboons, penguins, ostrich,
antelope and dolphins; or
- Stellenbosch Winelands with vineyards
encircled by mountains, and including some
wine-tasting at wine estates; or
- Hermanus for a full day of whale watching
in season (July to November)
Days 4 and 5
At leisure in the beautiful city of Cape Town.
Choose one of the many optional excursions available
today, such as a visit to Robben Island the
infamous prison home of Nelson Mandela, or explore the
many sights of Cape Town. Alternatively simply relax on
golden Camp’s Bay beach – the choice is yours!
Day 6
Early morning return transfer to Cape Town Airport
for your 2-hour flight to Johannesburg and 2-hour
onward flight to Vilanculos, Mozambique. Please
note that luggage restrictions apply on light aircraft
island flights, which typically only allow soft bags
(excess luggage can be stored locally for a fee,
provided arranged in advance).
 If
you are travelling to Benguerua Island, you will
be met at Vilanculos Airport by a hotel
representative and transferred by boat to the island. If
you are travelling to Bazaruto Island,
connect with your light aircraft for your short flight
to the island, where you will be met and transferred to
your hotel. Either way, your island transfer will be an
exciting introduction to these two main islands of
spectacular Bazaruto Archipelago and Marine Park.
Check in to your luxury lodge, settle-in and relax on
this Indian Ocean holiday island, with its vast
unspoilt beaches fringed by palm trees and enjoy your
beautifully prepared dinner.
Days 7 to 10
Enjoy lazy days swimming in the warm turquoise waters
of the Indian Ocean, sunbathing on deserted
golden beaches and snorkelling off the beach amongst
fish of all descriptions.
You have unlimited access to all non-motorised water
sports, including windsurfing, kite flying, ocean ski
paddling and catamaran sailing. Or simply relax and
enjoy the warm sunshine under endless blue skies.
 Scuba
divers can explore the renowned pristine Mozambique reef
in warm water and fishermen can try their hand at light
tackle, fly-fishing or exhilarating deep-sea game
fishing, in waters considered to be the best for marlin
in the world.
Later enjoy a romantic Dhow sunset cruise and walk
along the endless beach exploring your island, with its
prolific bird life (over 100 different species,
including flamingos and pelicans).
Each evening enjoy a romantic dinner and understand
what it means to be in paradise!
Day 11
Return transfer to Vilanculos for your onward
flight to Johannesburg Airport.
