• Port Elizabeth City Tour – historical and cultural highlights of this holiday city, situated on the sweeping shores of Algoa Bay (half day)

• Addo Elephant Park – unique conservation efforts to save the African Elephant (full day)

• Big Five Safari – afternoon tracking lion in malaria-free private game reserve, with boma dinner

PLETTENBERG BAY & KNYSNA:

• Featherbed Nature Reserve – dramatic unspoilt scenery, accessible only by ferry. Includes optional walking trail down to the lagoon and buffet seafood lunch

• Tsitsikamma Forest Ride – scenic ride through the Tsitsikamma forest, in a specially designed vehicle with forest guide. Includes picnic lunch - 2.5 hrs

• Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour – 3-hr tree top tour, gliding in a harness along steel cables attached to eight platforms, some 100ft above the forest floor. All ages, provided relatively fit

• Tsitsikamma Marine Trail – 2.5hr guided walk through marine reserve, including 1m walk to suspension bridge along wooden walkway (weather permitting). Dolphins sometimes seen and whales from August to November. Also Snorkelling Trail with over 400 fish species, ragged tooth & dusky sharks, sponges, sea urchins & anemones

• Tsitsikamma Black Water Tubing – 07h30 departure for exhilarating 2-hr tube ride down Storms River to the Tsitsikamma suspension bridge, starting with steep descent into gorge by rope ladder. Half day, with lunch. Min age 14 yrs (weather permitting)

• Abseiling – canoe across Knysna lagoon to Featherbed Nature Reserve. Then abseil down Beachcomber Caves (100 ft) or Needlepoint cliff (180 ft), with spectacular views

OUDTSHOORN – Private Tours only

• Cango Wildlife Ranch – your opportunity to view a variety of animals up close, including wild dogs and crocodiles. You can also touch a cheetah

• Meercat Tour – fascinating educational visit to see these cute creatures in the wild (2.5 hours - sunrise or sunset)
