Day 1
You will be met at Johannesburg Airport and
transferred to your hotel, conveniently situated near
numerous outdoor restaurants.
In the afternoon enjoy a half-day Johannesburg City
Tour including the downtown historical buildings and
the arty suburb of Melville. Return to your hotel via
the Johannesburg Botanical Gardens in Emmarentia and the
suburb of Rosebank.
Day 2
This
morning you will be collected from your hotel at around
07h30 for your small group tour to the Kruger
National Park, travelling through the Panorama
Route.
Depart Johannesburg and travel east via Nelspruit, White
River and Hazyview to spectacular Mpumalanga.
Enter the world famous Kruger National Park,
unrivalled in its diversity of flora and fauna and spend
the afternoon game viewing.
Leave the park in the late afternoon and drive to your
hotel for relaxation and dinner.
Day 3
After
an early breakfast, we return to the Kruger National
Park for an early morning game drive. Spend the day
viewing the Big Five, general game and prolific
bird life.
We exit the park at Orpen Gate and continue to your
luxury game lodge in a nearby private game reserve.
Arrive in time for afternoon tea, followed by your
evening Game Drive in an open safari vehicle.
Return to the lodge for a diverse array of eclectic
cuisine.
Day 4
Early
morning Bush Walk or Game Drive, where you
will have the opportunity to learn about the smaller
species of Africa's animal kingdom.
Leaving the lodge, we pass through the J.G Strijdom
Tunnel and over the Abel Erasmus Pass to explore the
breathtaking Panorama Route featuring the Blyde
River Canyon, Three Rondawels, Bourke's Luck Potholes,
God's Window and various waterfalls. Continue with a
short visit to the historic town of Pilgrim's Rest
and end your day in Sabie. A superb meal
completes the day.
Day 5
After a hearty breakfast on the veranda overlooking the
Sabie River, our journey to Johannesburg
begins with a visit to the Lone Creek waterfalls and the
small town of Sabie.
Travel over the historical Long Tom Pass to the
towns of Lydenburg, Dullstroom and Witbank to
Johannesburg, arriving in the early evening (approx
18h30), with return transfer to your hotel or to
Johannesburg Airport.
Travel times and stops may vary depending on the
interests of fellow guests.
On day excursions, group sizes may increase to up to 40
guests
