WPY12C: Wedding: Cape Town +
Kruger Park + Mauritius
Day 1

You will be met at Cape Town Airport and transferred
to your hotel.
Check in and relax in your magnificent surroundings.
Day 2
This morning meet your host to discuss your wedding
arrangements. Also meet with your Marriage Officer to
discuss your wedding and the significance of the
commitment you are about to make to each other. This is
your opportunity to raise any special requests you may
have regarding your ceremony and to visit the wedding
venue with your host.
Balance of day is free for independent sightseeing in
Cape Town. You will be given a day pass for the
convenient red Hop-On Hop-Off Bus, which stops at all
Cape Town’s key sights and beaches. Start by ascending
Table Mountain by cable car to enjoy one of the world’s
most famous views.
Continue to Camps Bay beach and then explore the shops
and many other attractions of the Victoria & Alfred
Waterfront, which is also the centre of Cape Town’s
nightlife.
Day 3
Wake at leisure on this your
WEDDING DAY!
If you have chosen a Beach Wedding, you will exchange
your vows in the morning when beach conditions are at
their best. For Kirstenbosch Gardens, Hotel or Church
weddings, you may exchange vows in either the morning or
the afternoon.
Table Mountain Weddings are weather dependant, as the
cable car does not run if there is wind – so a back up
venue is always required.
After enjoying a relaxing spa treatment, settle back and
enjoy every moment of this your Wedding Day without any
of the pressures of a formal wedding, as you marry in
spectacular surroundings under warm blue South African
skies and create memories of a lifetime!
Your photographer will record special moments, as your
stretch limousine escorts you to and from your wedding
venue in style. Afterwards toast your marriage with
champagne, followed by a romantic dinner to complete
your special day!
Day 4
Enjoy breakfast in bed this morning as Mr and Mrs!
Cape Town is a world-class honeymoon destination,
with its spectacular natural beauty offering endless
romance. Beaches are magnificent; restaurants are
outstanding and the Stellenbosch Winelands are
internationally renowned.
Day 5
Today enjoy a full day small group excursion to:
-
Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve where two
oceans meet, and where you may see baboons, penguins,
ostrich, antelope and dolphins; or
Your tour travels via Hout Bay and along
spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive to the Cape Point,
returning via naval Simons Town, Fish Hoek and
Constantia. A very scenic tour of the whole Cape
Peninsula, with the opportunity of visiting the penguin
colony at Boulders Beach (optional).
Your tour travels from Cape Town to the renowned
Cape Winelands of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl,
including stopping at several famous Wine Estates for
wine tasting and visiting the historic university town
of Stellenbosch
Your tour travels over Sir Lowry’s Pass with
spectacular views of False Bay and includes wine tasting
at a Wine Estate (closed Sundays) and a visit to the
Harold Porter National Botanical Garden with its fynbos
flora and bird life.
You will be collected from your hotel around 08h30/09h00
and return around 17h30.
Day 6
Transfer to Cape Town Airport for your 2.5-hour
flight to Mpumalanga.
You will be met at Mpumalanga Airport and meet
and introduced you to the beauty of the Eastern
Transvaal on your 2-hour drive to your luxury game lodge
in the world famous Kruger National Park.
Game-viewing opportunities should present themselves
almost immediately in this vast 2-million hectare game
sanctuary. Hopefully you will see several species of
antelope, zebra, wildebeest and maybe even giraffe
before we reach your lodge.
Check in, settle-in and relax in your bushveld
surroundings and enjoy your first safari game drive in
an open-top game viewing vehicle accompanied by a lodge
ranger, in search of the Big 5. Later enjoy
dining under clear African skies!
Day 7
Set off early this morning on an open-top game viewing
drive with your lodge ranger, to take advantage of the
best game viewing conditions of the day.
Explore the vast Kruger Plains, which offer
magnificent game viewing opportunities and the highest
concentration of lion in the whole of Africa. Hopefully
we will see several of the Big 5 today - Lion,
Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino – before returning
to the lodge for breakfast.
The rest of the morning is free for relaxing at the
lodge or beside the swimming pool.
In the afternoon enjoy another open-top game drive with
your ranger. With nearly 150 different species of
mammals and over 100 species of reptiles in the Kruger
Park, we hope to see hippos, crocodiles, cheetah,
giraffe, kudu, sable antelope, waterbuck, warthogs,
baboons, wild dogs and a wide variety of other
interesting animals. With over 500 different bird
species in the park, outstanding bird watching is also
guaranteed - including eagles, vultures, storks, fish
eagles and kingfishers.
In the evening, enjoy the balmy weather and pristine
stars of the Southern Sky and Milky Way, as you have
never seen them before – including the spectacular
Southern Cross.
Day 8
Time permitting enjoy a final open top game drive this
morning, before your transfer to Mpumalanga Airport
for your 2-hour flight to Johannesburg and onward
4-hour flight to Mauritius.
You will be met at Mauritius Airport and
transferred to your luxury resort, a drive of just over
1-hour.
Check in, settle in and relax in your beautiful
Indian Ocean Island surrounded by turquoise waters
and coral reefs. Later dine in style at your resort
restaurant.
Days 9 to 12
Relax and unwind on the white sandy beaches of
Mauritius, as you treat yourself to fine food and
wonderful entertainment!
Enjoy lazy days swimming and snorkelling in the warm
turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. Or relax on the
beach or beside the swimming pool, whilst enjoying the
many facilities of your luxury resort hotel.

Full day Catamaran cruises are very popular, as well
as Dolphin-watching boat trips and Glass-bottom boats to
view tropical fish and coral reefs.
Mauritius offers wonderful Scuba Diving, with fully
equipped dive centres offering a variety of PADI
courses. If have never tried before, these clear calm
waters offer an ideal location in which to learn to
scuba.
Deep Sea Fishing for giant marlin or Reef Fishing for
giant trevally offer thrilling activities!
Golf and Horse Riding are nearby, as well as the
opportunity to Hire a Bicycle to explore the island at
your own pace. Island sightseeing day excursions include
visits to Grand Baie, with its many pubs and nightlife,
and the capital city of Port Louis – where you must
expect to bargain vigorously!
With its warm tropical weather all year-round,
magnificent hotels and wonderful hospitality, Mauritius
offers a vibrant Indian Ocean Island experience.
Day 13
Transfer to Mauritius Airport for your flight home.
