Pilanesberg Safari
Day 1
 You
will be met at Johannesburg Airport and
transferred to the fascinating resort of Sun City,
a 2-hour drive through the rural North West Province.
Check in, settle in and relax in your lush subtropical
surrounding under warm blue African skies, before
meeting your wedding co-ordinator to discuss the final
details of your ceremony, which may be either Civil or
Religious.
Then explore the many pleasures of this sophisticated
resort, which offers the best of Vegas-style gaming
combined with world-class sporting and entertainment
facilities.
Day 2
Relax and enjoy the many facilities of Sun City.
Although famous for its gaming activities, Sun City
offers a wide variety of outdoor, family and sporting
activities - making it one of South Africa’s most
popular holiday destinations.
Its world-class Entertainment Centre includes
slot machines and bingo, whilst the sophisticated Casino
offers Black Jack, Roulette and much more.
Outside there are waterfalls and abundant tropical bird
life. The Valley of the Waves water theme park
offers both gentle rides and thrilling steep slides, as
well as a man-made tropical beach with real waves!
There is an excellent gym and spa and a full range of
sporting activities, including water sports on the dam,
tennis courts and two world-class championship golf
courses at the Gary Player Country Club and Lost City,
where crocodiles are found in some water hazards.
Alternatively simply relax at one of the many swimming
pools and absorb the atmosphere of this very special
resort.
This evening enjoy a special private dinner for two!
Day 3
Wake at leisure on this your WEDDING DAY.
Relax and enjoy every moment of this your special day,
without any of the pressures of a formal wedding, as you
exchange vows in a uniquely African setting in the
romantic Wind Chime Chapel.
Your photographer will record special moments, as you
create romantic memories of a lifetime and toast your
marriage with champagne.
Later relax under a balmy African sky or, if you have
friends with you, celebrate with a fun-filled wedding
party and dance the night away!
Days 4 & 5
Enjoy breakfast in bed this morning as Mr and Mrs!
Then enjoy a wonderful honeymoon relaxing and enjoying
the many pleasures of your Sun City resort.
Quad Biking, Archery, Elephant Back Safaris and a Hot
Air Balloon Ride over the game reserve are also
available – the choice is yours!
Day 6
 This
morning transfer to the neighbouring malaria-free
Pilanesberg Game Reserve.
Check in, settle in and relax in your luxury private
game lodge in this beautiful game sanctuary. In the
afternoon enjoy your first game drive in an open-top
game viewing vehicle into this superb Big Five
game reserve, which is uniquely situated inside an
extinct volcano. Hopefully see elephants, lions,
antelope and a wide variety of other game, before
enjoying dinner in your warm African surroundings.
Day 7
Up early each morning, when viewing conditions are at
their best, for another open-top game drive in the
Pilanesberg Game Reserve. We hope to see more of the
Big Five today: lion, buffalo, rhino, elephant and
leopard – as well as giraffe, wildebeest, crocodiles,
hippos, antelope and many other interesting species,
before returning to the lodge for breakfast.
The rest of the morning is at leisure. Relax beside the
lodge swimming pool or visit the viewing hide. In the
afternoon return to the Pilanesberg Game Reserve
for another open-top game drive, before dining at the
lodge in the atmosphere that only the African bushveld
can provide!
Day 8
After enjoying a final early morning game drive, return
transfer to Johannesburg Airport for your journey home.
