Day 1
You will be met at Cape Town Airport and transferred to your hotel in this beautiful city, within sight of Table Mountain.

Check in and relax in your magnificent surroundings.
Day 2
Today is free for independent sightseeing in Cape Town.

To orientate yourself, we suggest you purchase a pass onboard the convenient Red Route Hop-Off Bus, which stops at all Cape Town’s key sights and attractions, including the Table Mountain cable car (discounted tickets are sold on the bus). Here you can ascend and enjoy one of the world's most famous views.

Continue to trendy Camps Bay beach and the many attractions of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront (pay all entrance fees locally).

Note: Don't let the colour of the bus confuse you. All buses are red, but they run two different routes - the Red City Route and the Blue Kirstenbosch Route.
Day 3
Today you will be collected from your hotel for a full day shared tour to the beautiful Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, where you may see baboons, ostrich and perhaps even dolphins or whales in season (July/November).

Your tour travels through Hout Bay and along spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive to the Cape Point peninsula, returning via Simons Town, Fish Hoek, Constantia and Kirstenbosch Gardens. This is a scenic tour of the whole Cape Peninsula, with the optional opportunity of visiting the penguin colony at Boulders Beach.
Day 4
This morning you will be collected from your hotel around 08.15 for your circular small group tour of the beautiful Garden Route from Cape Town.

We leave Cape Town via Du Toits Kloof Pass to Worcester and traverse the famous Route 62 passing through Montagu and the small towns of Robertson, Barrydale and Calitzdorp, where the true diversity of landscapes is highlighted through the ever-changing semi desert scenery.

Enjoy lunch along the way (included), before continuing to the ostrich capital of Oudtshoorn. Check into your hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner (included).

Note: On escorted group tours please note that for operational reasons it is sometimes necessary to substitute one hotel with another of a similar quality. One suitcase and one shoulder bag are allowed.
Day 5
We start today with a visit to the world famous Cango Caves. This vast series of underground halls and caverns was formed over 20 million years ago in the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains. The caves, which extend for over 3 miles, contain spectacular stalagmites and stalactites and offer relatively easy access.

We continue to Cango Wildlife Ranch to see crocodiles & cheetah close up. We also visit a local Ostrich Farm to learn more about these huge flightless birds and their magnificent plumage. Here we enjoy an included lunch.

In the afternoon we drive over the spectacular Outeniqua Pass to the oyster capital of Knysna in the heart of the scenic Garden Route. Enjoy the beaches of Wilderness and the lakes of Sedgefield, before continuing to Knysna and checking in to your hotel in this area of outstanding natural beauty. Dinner is included tonight.
Day 6
This morning enjoy a boat ride on Knysna Lagoon, the entrance to which is guarded by two magnificent sandstone cliffs.

Afterwards we drive through the pretty towns of Sedgefield and Wilderness to Mossel Bay. On arrival we visit the Dias Museum, which has a life-sized replica of the ship that the Portuguese explorer, Bartolomeu Dias, sailed in when he became the first European to set foot on South African soil and erect a cross here. At the centre of the complex is the famous Post Office Tree, an ancient Milkwood where early sailors left mail for homebound ships. We then check into our hotel and enjoy dinner (included).
Day 7
Today drive 5-hours from Mossel Bay to the beautiful city of Cape Town.

Along the way we suggest you stop at the historic town of Swellendam, with its delightful examples of Cape Dutch architecture.

Continue to Cape Town and drop off your hire car at your hotel in this beautiful city in the shadow of Table Mountain.
Day 8
Transfer to Cape Town Airport for your flight home.
