Day 1
You will be met at Cape Town Airport and transferred to your hotel in this beautiful city, within sight of Table Mountain.

Check in and relax in your magnificent surroundings.
Day 2
Today your guide will collect you for a full day tour of Cape Town.

We start with a short tour to see the key historical and architectural sites of the "Mother City". Weather permitting, we will then ascend Table Mountain by cable car to enjoy one of the world’s most famous views (alternatively we drive up Signal Hill, with its wonderful view point).

We continue to the fishing village of Hout Bay, where there is the option to take a boat ride to see the Cape Fur seals at Seal Island (pay locally).

Afterwards we visit Kirstenbosch Gardens, nestled on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain and regarded as one the most beautiful botanic gardens in the world. Bequeathed to the nation by Cecil John Rhodes, the garden was established 1913. There is an avenue of camphor trees, a beautiful protea and fynbos garden, useful plants garden, sculpture garden and a dell garden as well as a world class collection of indigenous South African flora. Wonderful summer sunset concerts are held in the gardens on Sunday evenings from December to March.

Note: For the optional trip to Seal Island you will be lifted in your manual wheelchair into the boat, so this will not be possible for very heavy guests, nor for power chairs. If you prone to travel sickness, you may want to take preventative tablets in advance. There is no accessible toilet on the boat.
Day 3
Today your guide will collect you for a full day tour to the beautiful Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.

Enjoy wonderful ocean views as we drive around the Cape Peninsula to naval Simonstown, where we visit the resident penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

We continue to Cape Point where we hope to see baboons, ostrich and perhaps even dolphins or whales in season (July to November). We take an accessible funicular ride up to the Old Lighthouse, before returning via spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive to Cape Town.
Day 4
Enjoy a full day tour through the renowned Stellenbosch Winelands, travelling through the scenic Franschhoek Valley where a handful of French Huguenot refugees started South Africa’s now famous wine industry. We visit the historic university town of Stellenbosch and several different wine estates – sampling as we go.

After lunch at a good restaurant or wine estate (own account), there is the option of visiting the Cheetah Outreach Project in Somerset West on the way home (pay entrance fee locally).
Day 5
Transfer to Cape Town Airport for your onward flight.

You will be met at Port Elizabeth Airport and transferred 2-hours to your malaria-free private game reserve near Addo in the beautiful Eastern Cape.

After checking in to your lodge enjoy an afternoon game drive, where game viewing opportunities should present themselves almost immediately. Hopefully see several species of antelope, zebra, wildebeest and maybe even giraffe - as well as several of the Big Five - before dining in your warm African surroundings.

Note: You need some upper body strength for this safari, as you will need to be lifted into the front seat of the game viewing vehicle. If you do not have upper body strength, please enquire about other more suitable safari destinations, where an accessible vehicle is allowed.
Days 6 To 7
Rise at dawn to take advantage of the best game viewing conditions of the day and enjoy a thrilling open-top game viewing safari with a lodge ranger in your East Cape Game Reserve which is home to all the Big 5 - Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino. Hope to see many interesting species before returning to your lodge for breakfast.

The rest of the morning is free to relax by the lodge swimming pool, before setting out again in the late afternoon for another game drive. Hope to see giraffe, hippo, kudu, crocodiles, antelope, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons and many other interesting animals. With hundreds of different bird species, outstanding bird watching is also guaranteed!

After a beautiful African sunset, enjoy the balmy evening and pristine stars of the Milky Way as you have never seen them before – as well as the spectacular Southern Cross.
Day 8
Enjoy some final early morning game viewing, before your 2-hour transfer to Port Elizabeth Airport for your flight home.
