Day 1
You will be met at Nairobi Airport and transferred to your light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara, named after the Maasai people and the Mara River that divides the park.

Masai Mara National Park is famous for its exceptional population of game and the annual migration of zebra and wildebeest from the adjoining Serengeti National Park. This phenomenon occurs every year from July to October, when game migrates along a circular route from the plains of the Serengeti to the Masai Mara and back again in search of fresh pastures, followed by hungry predators - most notably lions and hyena. After checking into your lodge, enjoy a late afternoon game drive.

Note: As you will be flying in a light aircraft you must pack soft sports bags only, as rigid suitcases will not fit into the luggage pods. A baggage allowance of 15 kg (which includes your hand luggage) is strictly enforced for safety reasons. Excess baggage can be stored with our representative in Nairobi.
Days 2 To 3
Today is dedicated to game viewing on the open plains of the world famous Masai Mara region.

We set off early each morning, when game viewing conditions are at their best, to view the abundant wildlife of this region. Return to the lodge to rest in the heat of the day, before setting off again in the late afternoon for another game drive.

Nestled within the enormous Great Rift Valley, the Masai Mara is famous for its many prides of lions, packs of hyena and other predators - as well as huge herds of wildebeest, which number over one million, zebra and giraffe. All the Big Five can be seen here, as well as numerous other species including the Thomson's gazelle, topi, kongoni, impala, roan antelope and hippo. The nocturnal bat-eared fox, rarely found elsewhere in Kenya, also inhabits this park as well as the endangered cheetah and black rhino.

Bird watching is also excellent with over 450 different species. These include the Marabou stork, Secretary bird, Crowned crane, Ostrich, African pygmy falcon, Brown snake eagle, Black-chested snake eagle, Bateleur, Martial eagle, African paradise flycatcher, Red-fronted & White-headed barbet, Black-faced go-away bird, Woodland kingfisher, Violet-backed starling, Black cuckoo-shrike and various species of larks, cisticolas, vultures, hornbills and so much more.

Note: If your lodge is situated in a private conservancy, you will need to pay an extra $130 pp if you want a game drive that enters the Masai Mara National Reserve. As wildlife ranges freely between the surrounding conservancies & the national park, without any fences to restrict their movement, this is only necessary during the migration season and should be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.
Day 4
After a final early morning game drive, transfer to the airstrip for your light aircraft flight to Nairobi.

You will be met at Wilson Airport and transferred to your hotel conveniently situated near the international airport.
Day 5
Transfer to Nairobi Airport for your onward flight.

You will be met at Mauritius Airport and transferred 1-hour to your beach resort.

Check in to your hotel, settle in and relax on this warm tropical Indian Ocean island, surrounded by sparkling turquoise waters and coral reefs.
Day 6
This morning transfer to the Civil Office in Port Louis with all your original documents, to complete your legal wedding formalities.

Afterwards proceed to the Civil Office of the region where you will be married, to have your marriage bans published.

The rest of the day is free to relax on the glorious tropical beaches of Mauritius.
Day 7
Wake at leisure on this your WEDDING DAY.

Then relax and enjoy every moment of this your special day, without any of the pressures of a formal wedding, as you exchange vows on a spectacular beach on the tropical island of Mauritius. Toast your marriage with champagne as you create memories of a lifetime.

Wedding package varies by hotel, but usually includes small bouquet of flowers for the bride, buttonhole for the groom, small wedding cake & a bottle of sparkling wine. Any other extras (eg make-up, photographer) will be subject to a supplement. Full details of the package you have chosen will be provided separately.

Documents in English or French to be sent to Mauritius at least 30 days before your departure (take the originals with you, plus 2 certified copies of each):
        • Birth certificate of each partner (re-ssued within 3 months of wedding)
        • First three pages of each passport (bio pages)
        • If divorced, divorce certificate & previous marriage certificate (re-issued within 3 months of wedding). If divorced < 300 days, a mandatory pregnancy test is required which needs to be done in Mauritius
        • If widowed, death certificate & previous marriage certificate (re-issued within 3 months of wedding), with same mandatory pregnancy test
        • If either partner's name has been changed, the relevant document attesting to this

Days 8 To 10
Enjoy lazy days relaxing on the white sandy beaches of Mauritius.

Swim and snorkel in these sparkling turquoise Indian Ocean waters, participate in a wide variety of water sports and savour fine Creole cuisine - especially the superb seafood.

Mauritius offers wonderful scuba diving in its calm clear waters, so this is the ideal opportunity to learn if you have never tried before, with many PADI dive centres. Deep sea fishing is also outstanding, in waters regarded as the best for marlin in the world.

Dolphin-watching catamaran cruises are very popular, as well as glass-bottomed boat rides to view the surrounding coral reefs swarming with tropical fish. Golf and horse riding are available, as well as bicycle hire to allow you to explore the island independently.

You can visit vibrant Grand Baie, with its pubs and nightlife and shop in the capital city of Port Louis, where you must expect to bargain vigorously. Or join one of many fascinating day tours that explore the history and nature reserves of the island.
Day 11
Transfer 1-hour to Mauritius Airport for your flight home.
