Meet the Team

Kate is a senior travel consultant who has always been passionate about travel. Her mother was born in Assam and she has travelled many times to India, which still captures her imagination. She has taught English in Madagascar & travelled to South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Seychelles, Sri Lanka, Peru, Argentina, Brazil, Guatemala, Honduras, Bali, USA, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia and Fiji. She has also been on a thrilling expedition cruise to Antarctica.

Alison has over 30 years of global travel experience and a deep passion for Africa. She has returned many times for its wildlife, landscapes and cultures, with recent trips including gorilla and chimp trekking in Uganda and Rwanda. Her safari knowledge spans Botswana, South Africa, Namibia, Zambia and Kenya, while a fly-safari across Tanzania remains a standout journey. India is another favourite, inspiring her with its culture, cuisine, palaces and backwaters. Tracking Bengal tigers in Madhya Pradesh is among her personal highlights. Knowledgeable and enthusiastic, Alison creates tailor-made holidays that truly capture the spirit of adventure.

 

Krishna brings over 20 years’ experience and extensive first-hand knowledge of India and Sri Lanka to the 2by2 team. She returns often for their landscapes, wildlife and warm hospitality. She is also passionate about Africa, having explored South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Botswana and Namibia on safari, with strong expertise in both Big Five viewing and specialist wildlife encounters. Her further travels span Latin America and beyond, including the Amazon and Galápagos, Peru’s mountain lodges, the jungles and beaches of Costa Rica and even far-flung St Helena where she went swimming with whale sharks.

 

Rhona was born in Scotland but moved to ‘sunny’ England over 30 years ago.  A keen competitive golfer, she has many county trophies to her name. Naturally, Rhona’s first love is travel, with Africa topping her list of favourite destinations. Indeed, she’s been fortunate enough to visit South Africa on several occasions, while a trip to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust in Kenya ranks high among her top travel experiences. Elsewhere, Rhona has spent many winter months exploring Thailand and has travelled extensively in the United States and Scandinavia. She has also visited Tanzania, Botswana, Zimbabwe, the Seychelles, Colombia, Panama, Mexico, Costa Rica & the Bahamas.

Sarah has over 24 years’ experience in the travel industry and has explored 46 countries across the globe. Her travels began with a year-long overland adventure around Australia, including an unforgettable three-week expedition from Adelaide to Darwin. Since then, she has explored many more destinations across the globe and has been fortunate to contribute to conservation projects in South Africa, including baboon monitoring, penguin and stork rehabilitation, and the protection of the country's rare white lions. Closer to home, Sarah enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, walking and hiking through some of the UK's beautiful landscapes. Her love of nature, wildlife, and authentic travel experiences continues to inspire both her personal adventures and the expert advice she shares with her clients.

 

Tom is fortunate enough to have spent much of his life travelling, exploring much of Africa, Asia, and Central America. He’s always been inspired by the natural world, and driven by a fascination for wildlife and animals. He loves stepping off the beaten track, whether ambling through a new city or adventuring through an untouched rainforest. Namibia retains a special place in his mind, captivating with its majestic landscapes and exhilarating activities.

Born and raised in South Africa, Jane developed her love of wildlife and travel from an early age, with family holidays to the Kruger National Park and hiking in the Drakensberg Mountains. She went on to turn this passion into a career, managing safari lodges in the Greater Kruger and Madikwe Game Reserve.

 

A former member of cabin crew, Jane has travelled widely across Europe, South America and Asia, but Africa remains her greatest passion. Her first-hand experience includes Botswana, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Kenya, Uganda, the Seychelles, Mauritius and Madagascar, as well as extensive travels throughout her native South Africa.

 

Jane particularly enjoys creating adventurous self-drive holidays, combining spectacular scenery with wildlife, birdwatching and walking experiences. For the more adventurous, she might even suggest a Big Five walking trail in the Greater Kruger!

 

Now based in Norfolk, Jane continues to indulge her love of nature, often walking and birdwatching around the Norfolk Broads, binoculars in hand.
