One of Africa’s great wildlife wilderness areas, Chobe National Park in northern Botswana is famous for its river-based migrating herds and boasts the largest concentration of elephant in the whole of Africa. Botswana is also famous for the Okavango Delta whose waters never reach the sea, but are absorbed into the arid Kalahari Desert - creating seasonal flood plains that attract a myriad of bird and animal life.
