When to go to Reunion

Reunion has a warm tropical climate, with sea temperatures that rarely drop below 23°C even in winter. The island can be visited all year round, except January to March which is the very wet cyclone season
 
The best time to visit Reunion is from April to October, which is the dry season. November to March is more humid with rain. Avoid January, February & March, when cyclones can occur.
 
Whales can be seen off the west coast from July to October. Remember to avoid January to March, as this is the cyclone season when there can be prolonged rains.
