Coronavirus: a message to our customers
If you are due to travel shortly we will be in touch to support and guide you, based on current Foreign Office advice.
If you are ready to start planning you next holiday, our 'Book with Confidence' pledge has been created to give you peace of mind. For new bookings made before 30 June 2021, we will not charge if you need to move your holiday dates or change to a new destination due to Covid-19, up to 60 days prior to travel. You can move your holiday to any time up to 31 December 2022 or 12 months from your departure date, whichever is later*. If you are unsure of your future travel plans when you need to make this change, we will provide you with a 100% travel credit note.
* Terms and conditions
We may need to adjust the cost of your trip to reflect any seasonal differences. Sometimes non-refundable deposits are required by local suppliers, which would be specified prior to booking. If you are unable to travel, we would secure a credit note for future travel from these suppliers, but you would not get a cash refund for these items. Flights that have already been issues will be subject to the rules of your airline & therefore may not be refundable or changeable. All other terms and conditions remain as standard.

Travel has always been a huge part of my life and it was my passion to share my experiences which led me to establish 2by2 Holidays over 15 years ago.
Since then our team has grown and we have expanded our holidays from the remarkable wildlife and cultures of Africa to the iconic sights of Latin America and the tigers and temples of India, But our values and ethos remain unchanged - to give you the most wonderful experience possible in a region of the world you never thought you would visit.
Our company name comes from the ancient legend of Noah's Ark, where all the animals of the world went into his giant boat 'two by two' to survive the great flood - and wildlife and conservation remain as precious and thrilling to us today.
My enthusiasm burns as brightly as ever and I'm involved in every aspect of the business, backed up by our superb travel team. Our love for travel has certainly rubbed off on our customers, with over a third returning year after year to explore a different country or revisit an old favourite. Whatever your passion and however complex your needs, our thoughtful approach and attention to detail will ensure your holiday is just right for you.

The national parks, reserves and wildlife sanctuaries that are included in our itineraries directly benefit from tourism and in many cases your income is vital to their survival. Many of the lodges we work with across Africa, Latin America and India support local projects such as childcare facilities, schools and health clinics, further improving local conditions.

Travel Insurance
2by2 Holidays is an approved introducer of Rush Insurance Services Limited, who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. They offer single and annual multi-trip policies, including Covid-19 cover. Remember that all pre-existing conditions must be declared.
2by2 Holidays is also an approved introducer of Campbell Irvine travel insurance, who provide cover for safaris, diving, trekking and similar adventure holidays.

Our Financial Protection

All our holidays are fully financially protected under one of the following schemes:
ATOL Bookings (i.e. where we book some or all of your flights):
Customers living in the UK who book holidays that include at least one flight are protected by way of our Air Travel Organiser’s Licence (ATOL) - number 9025 - a financial protection scheme run by the UK Civil Aviation Authority. If a travel firm fails, the full value of what you have paid for your holiday is covered, including flights and all ground arrangements. This includes repatriation if required.
ATOL will not protect you if you book all your own flights direct with the airline. It also does not apply to non-UK residents, who are protected by our client Trust Account (see below).
When you buy an ATOL protected product from us you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong. For further information visit the Civil Aviation Authority's website at www.caa.co.uk/atol-protection.
Non-ATOL Bookings (i.e. all other holidays):
Holidays booked on or after 1 February 2021that do not meet the above criteria (e.g. you have not booked any flights, or you do not live in the UK), are protected through our client Trust Account in accordance with the Package Travel & Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations of 2018.
Holidays booked or rolled over prior to 31 January 2021 will be protected through our Tour Operator Insurance policy, known as Travel Vault, which is administered by Towergate Travel through Zurich Insurance PLC. In the event of the insolvency of 2by2 Holidays, this policy will cover all payments that you have made to us for your holiday, but it will not cover any money paid to 3rd parties for travel insurance. In the unlikely event of our insolvency, you must immediately contact Towergate Travel on +44 (0)1932 334140 or by email at tcs@towergate.co.uk. You will need to produce your booking confirmation form as evidence of your cover and value.
