Day 1
You will be met at Hoedspruit Airport and transferred to your game lodge in the world famous Kruger National Park.

After checking in, enjoy a thrilling game drive in an open-top vehicle accompanied by a lodge ranger. Game viewing opportunities should present themselves almost immediately in this vast wildlife wilderness. Hopefully you will see several species of antelope, zebra, wildebeest and maybe even giraffe today - as well as several of the Big Five - before dining under the stars in the atmosphere that only the African bushveld can provide.
Days 2 To 3
Rise at dawn to take advantage of the best game viewing conditions of the day, as you enjoy a shared open-top game viewing drive with a lodge ranger in the world famous Kruger National Park.

Explore some of this vast game sanctuary that is the size of Wales, offering magnificent game viewing opportunities and the highest concentration of lion in the whole of Africa. Hope to see several of the Big Five today - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino - as well as many other species before returning to your lodge for breakfast.

The rest of the morning is free to relax at your lodge, before setting out again in the late afternoon for another game drive. With nearly 150 different species of mammals and over 100 species of reptiles in the Kruger National Park, you can hope to see cheetah, giraffe, hippo, kudu, crocodiles, sable antelope, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons, wild dogs and many other interesting animals. Outstanding bird watching is also guaranteed, with over 500 different bird species including eagles, kingfishers, vultures and storks.

After a beautiful African sunset, enjoy the balmy evening and pristine stars of the Milky Way as you have never seen them before – as well as the spectacular Southern Cross.

Note: You need upper body strength for this safari, as you will need to be lifted into the front seat of the game viewing vehicle. Children < 6 are not allowed on open top game drives. Other safari alternatives are available, using an accessible vehicle, if you do not have upper body strength or if you are travelling with young children.
Day 4
Enjoy an early morning game drive, before your transfer to Hoedspruit Airport for your onward flight.

Arrive at Johannesburg Airport and make your own way across the service road to your airport hotel.

Check in and relax in your warm African surroundings.
Day 5
Make your own way across the service road to Johannesburg Airport for your onward flight.

You will be met at Mauritius Airport and transferred 1-hour to your beach resort.

Check in to your hotel, settle in and relax on this warm tropical Indian Ocean island, surrounded by sparkling turquoise waters and coral reefs.
Days 6 To 10
Enjoy lazy days relaxing on white sandy beaches, and watching people swim and snorkel in the warm turquoise waters that surround the tropical island of Mauritius, which is protected by a pristine coral reef.

If you are able to transfer onto the water, you can view the fish and corals from a glass-bottomed boat. You can also savour delicious Creole cuisine - including fresh seafood.

In the north you can visit beautiful Pamplemousse Gardens,  the excellent museum of Mauritian history at Sugar World and vibrant Grand Baie with its many pubs and restuarants. In the southwest you can visit the stunning Black Rivers Gorges National Park and the seven coloured earth found at Chamarel. In the west you can shop in the capital of Port Louis, where you must expect to bargain vigorously. Rum tastings are also offered in several locations.
