SIW7J: Waterberg Safari
Day 1
 Arrive
Johannesburg Airport, collect your hire car and
drive 2-hours to the beautiful malaria-free Waterberg
Welgevonden.
After checking in to your game lodge, enjoy a safari in
your Private Game Reserve where game viewing
opportunities should present themselves almost
immediately. Hope to see several species of antelope,
zebra, wildebeest, giraffe and numerous other plains
game this evening, as well as one of the larger
predators, before dining under the stars!
Days 2 -
6
Relax and enjoy the warm weather and blue skies of your
Private Game Reserve in the Waterberg.
Three times during the week, enjoy a thrilling open-top
game viewing drive with your lodge ranger to explore
your private game reserve, which offer wonderful game
viewing and the opportunity to search for all the Big
5 - Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Leopard and Rhino. With
numerous different species of mammals and reptiles in
the park, you can hope to see cheetah, giraffe, hippo,
kudu, crocodiles, sable antelope, waterbuck, warthogs,
 baboons
and many other interesting animals. Outstanding bird
watching is also guaranteed!
The rest of the day is free to relax by the swimming
pool and enjoy the beautiful African sunsets, balmy
evenings and pristine stars of the Milky Way as you have
never seen them before – as well as the spectacular
Southern Cross.
Children < 6 are not allowed on open top game drives
Day 7
Drive 2-hours to Johannesburg Airport to drop
off your hire care for your flight home.
