When to go to Guyana

Guyana is situated close to the equator so can be visited all year round, but the best time to visit Guyana is during one of the two dry seasons from February to April and from September to October.
 
These are also the best seasons for wildlife viewing and birding, although some migrants arrive from October to January.
 
Kaieteur Falls are at their best in February and September, following the rains.
 
In the interior heavy rains fall from May to August, which makes travel very difficult.
