Day 1
You will be met at Mombasa Airport and transferred along the coast to your beach resort.

Check into your hotel situated on the shores of the sparkling Indian Ocean and relax in your warm tropical surroundings.
Day 2
At leisure to relax and soak up the sun on the Indian Ocean beaches of the warm Mombasa coast.

Enjoy the lush tropical gardens of coconut trees, fan-shaped travellers palms and the vibrant blooms of hibiscus, bougainvilleas and frangipani - as well the splendid coastline. Various watersports are available, as well as many optional activities such as snorkelling trips, Mombasa city tour, scuba diving, deep sea fishing and golf.

Note: Please be aware that there will be 'beach boys' on the beach, trying to sell you excursions and trinkets. Don't be taken in by them and simply say 'No' very firmly. They are not allowed in the grounds of  your hotel.
Day 3
We leave Mombasa early this morning and drive 3.5-hours to Tsavo National Park, travelling in a safari minibus (with pop-up roof for game viewing and guaranteed window seat).

Following the route of the railway line built by the British in the late nineteenth century, the road passes through warehouses and workshops on the outskirts of Mombasa, climbing steadily and soon the vast plains of Tsavo become visible in the distance, with the rolling Taita Hills on the horizon.

At Buchuma Gate we enter Tsavo East National Park, the largest park in Kenya at over 7,000 square miles (nearly 12,000 sq. km) and named after the Tsavo River, which flows through it. Check into your lodge in this great wilderness area, which is divided into an eastern and western section by the railway line and national road and is one of the oldest and largest wildlife conservation areas in Kenya. As the park is unfenced, animals migrate freely across both sectors.

After lunch at your lodge, in the afternoon we set out on a game drive in search of a variety of plains game, predators and bird life - including lions, elephants, giraffe and zebras.

Note: Due to limited space in the vehicle, rigid suitcases are not suitable. Luggage needs to be packed in soft side bags (sports bags are ideal) not exceeding 15 kg and 65 x 46 cm. Excess baggage can be left with our representative in Mombasa for a charge. On escorted group tours please note that for operational reasons it is sometimes necessary to substitute one hotel with another of similar quality.
Day 4
This morning we leave Tsavo National Park and travel 4.5-hours to Amboseli National Park.

We join the main highway and drive northwards to Emali, where we head south towards Amboseli. If the weather is clear this national park offers magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro in neighbouring Tanzania.

Check into your lodge for lunch, before enjoying an afternoon game drive across the vast lake bed in this wildlife reserve. Amboseli is best known for its great herds of elephant - you'll often find many of them standing knee deep in the water, spraying themselves to keep cool - but there is a lot of other game here including cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, many types of gazelle and other plains game.
Day 5
Enjoy a final early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park today.

After breakfast at our lodge, we then head back to the national road and travel 4.5-hours to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, a private conservancy situated between Tsavo West and Tsavo East national parks.

We arrive at our lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive returning as the sun sets. After dinner we set out on a night drive, to give us the opportunity of viewing noctural wildlife in their natural habitat.
Day 6
After breakfast we leave Taita Hills and travel 5-hours to Diani Beach on the south coast, where you will be dropped off at your resort.

Check into your hotel situated on the shores of the sparkling Indian Ocean and relax in your warm beach surroundings.
