When to go to Falkland Islands

The Falklands have a cool and temperate climate with strong westerly winds.
 
The best time to visit the Falkland Islands is from October to March, as this is their summer with long hours of daylight.  November to February is the busiest period, when advance booking is essential. Most expedition cruises that visit the Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica operate between November and February.
