Lake Mulehe Gorilla Lodge is built into a steep hillside near the Rushaga Gate entrance into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, with stunning views over the lake and surrounding countryside. Each en-suite bedroom is colourfully decorated in an African style. Tea and coffee are availlable in the lounge, which has an open fireplace, and bar where there is intermittent WiFi, but no TV. Massages are offered to revive weary legs after gorilla treks, but need to be pre-booked. This lodge has lots of steps, so is not suitable if you have mobility issues.
