Day 2
Today enjoy a full day private tour of the beautiful city of Cape Town.

Weather permitting, we start by ascending Table Mountain by cable car to see one of the world's most famous views (Fast Track cable car ticket included). Alternatively we will drive up Signal Hill).

We then explore the key sights of this beautiful city including enjoying views of the City Hall, Greenmarket Square, Houses of Parliament, Bo Kaap and Sea Point. Entrance fees are included for the Castle of Good Hope and the District Six Museum, but lunch is for your own account.

At the end of the day you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, with its many shops and restaurants.

Note: Table Mountain cable car is closed for annual maintenance from late July to early August.
Day 3
Today enjoy a full day private tour around the beautiful Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve peninsula.

We drive past the sparkling beaches of Camps Bay, Clifton and Llandudno to Hout Bay, the heart of the local crayfish industry, where we take a short boat trip to Seal Island to view Cape Fur seals.

We then continue via spectacular Chapman’s Peak Drive to Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve to enjoy the rugged beauty of this spectacular coastline, with its diverse fauna and flora. Established in 1936 to preserve the indigenous flora of the Cape Peninsula, this 7,750 hectare reserve showcases the diversity in the Cape Floral Kingdom, including the protea, erica and restio families. The fauna of the reserve include eland, Burchell’s zebra, bontebok, Chacma baboon and many smaller mammals and reptiles, as well as over 250 bird species. You may even see dolphins or whales in season (July to November). The funicular up to the Old Lighthouse is included.

On the return journey we pass through naval Simons Town to visit the resident penguin colony at Boulders Beach.

Note: Lunch is for your own account today.
Day 4
Today we recommend an optional full day shared tour to the renowned Stellenbosch Winelands, travelling through the scenic Franschhoek Valley where a handful of French Huguenot refugees started South Africa’s now famous wine industry.

Explore the historic university town of Stellenbosch and several wine estates on this famous wine route, which stretched from Paarl through to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Enjoy a cellar tour and some wine tasting, before returning to Cape Town in the late afternoon.

Note: Lunch is for your own account today. Group size is minimum 2 / maximum 15.

Days 6 To 7
Rise at dawn to take advantage of the best game viewing conditions of the day, as you enjoy a thrilling shared open-top game drive with your lodge ranger. Enjoy magnificent game viewing hoping to see some of the Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino - as well as many other species, before returning to your lodge for breakfast.

Nosy Be (meaning 'Big Island') has a volcanic landscape characterised by many hills overlooked by Mount Lokobe and Mount Passot. From one of these high vantage points you can enjoy exceptional views over nearby Radama and Mitsio Islands. Based at a hotel on one of the islands, or on the mainland facing towards Nosy Be, you can relax on a pristine beach and explore this rugged coastline by boat, with its many coves and deserted beaches lined by palm trees.

You can see lemurs in the wild at Lokobe Nature Reserve on Nosy Be island. You can also take optional excursions to smaller islands such as Nosy Tanikely, which offers outstanding snorkelling, and  Nosy Iranja with its idyllic beaches.

Madagascar is a significant grower of the fragrant Ylang-ylang tree, whose flower is an important component in many essential oils and perfumes, including famous Chanel No 5. The island produces over 97% of the world’s real vanilla, as well as growing peppercorns, turmeric, cinnamon, cloves and many other spices.
