When to go to Belize

The best time to visit Belize is during the cool, dry season from December to April, when the weather is warm and sunny and the ocean is at its clearest.
 
The hurricane season runs from June to November. August to October in particular should be avoided, as heavy rain can make travel very challenging.
 
The lush Toledo District and Placencia have a more tropical climate, where rain can fall at any time of the year.
