Although we are now working from home, if you are due to travel shortly we will be in touch to support and guide you in either postponing or cancelling your trip, based on Foreign Office advice and your insurance arrangements.

When you feel ready to do so, we are here to help you plan your next holiday, knowing availability in many key destinations is already tight for next year. To help you move forward with confidence, our booking conditions have been relaxed in case you are unable to travel due to COVID-19 issues beyond your control (eg a new wave of infections; visa restrictions; mandatory quarantine; or cancellation of your international flight).

Thank you for your ongoing kindness & support in these difficult times. And remember that all our holidays are fully financially protected, wherever in the world you live.

Warm regards

Day 1
You will be met at Mpumalanga Airport and transferred to the scenic Panorama Route.

Check into your hotel in this beautiful region.

Day 2
This morning we visit Hazyview Elephant Sanctuary to experience a very special close-up encounter, where for 1-hour you can interact with and feed one of these gentle giants.

Afternoon is free to relax at your lodge on the beautiful Panorama Route.

Note: There are no accessible toilets at the Elephant Sanctuary.

Day 3
Today enjoy a drive through the green Blyde River Canyon - the third largest canyon in the world. Enjoy wonderful views from Pinnacle Rock, Wonder View and the Three Rondavels lookout.

We continue to Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre where you have the unique opportunity of viewing wild lion, leopard, cheetah, eagles and vultures at close quarters. Animals found injured, poisoned or orphaned are given a second chance and released back into the wild.

Note: Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is closed on Sundays.
Day 4
This morning we enter the world famous Kruger National Park and enjoy a game drive in your guide's closed air-conditioned vehicle.

Game viewing opportunities should present themselves almost immediately in this vast 2-million hectare game sanctuary that is the size of Wales. Hopefully you will see several species of antelope, zebra, wildebeest and maybe even giraffe today - as well as several of the Big Five.

Afterwards check into your lodge situated near the entrance to the park, relax and enjoy the atmosphere that only the African bushveld can provide.
Days 5 To 7
Today is devoted to game viewing in the Kruger National Park. As you will have the services of a private driver/guide, you will have the flexibility of discussing preferred routings and travelling times with him each day, travelling in his closed air-conditioned vehicle. We recommend setting off early each morning as the camp gates open (05h00 to 06h00 depending on the season), to take advantage of the best game viewing conditions of the day.

Explore the famous Kruger National Park, which offer magnificent game viewing opportunities and the highest concentration of lion in the whole of Africa. Hope to see several of the Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino - as well as many other species, before stopping at a picnic spot or rest camp for lunch (own account) and more game viewing in the afternoon.

All game drives will be taken with your guide in his air-conditioned vehicle. With nearly 150 different species of mammals and over 100 species of reptiles in the Kruger National Park, you can hope to see cheetah, giraffe, hippo, kudu, crocodiles, sable antelope, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons, wild dogs and many other interesting animals. Outstanding bird watching is also guaranteed, with over 500 different bird species including eagles, kingfishers, vultures and storks.

Return to your lodge in the late afternoon and after a beautiful African sunset, enjoy the balmy evening and pristine stars of the Milky Way as you have never seen them before – as well as the spectacular Southern Cross.

Note: Vehicles are not allowed to drive off-road in any national park in South Africa. If you are tall and remain in your chair for your game drives, please be aware there will be some restrictions on your viewing due to the height of the windows in the accessible vehicle. There are no restrictions if you transfer into one of the regular seats.

If you have upper body strength, optional open-top game drives are available from your lodge at a supplement, but should be pre-booked  (you will need to be lifted into the front seat of the game viewing vehicle). Children < 6 are not allowed on open top game drives.
Day 8
Transfer to Mpumalanga Airport for your flight home.
