Day 1
You will be met at Mpumalanga Airport and transferred to your lodge situated near the entrance to the world famous Kruger National Park.

Check in and relax in the atmosphere that only the African bushveld can provide.

In the afternoon you will be collected for a visit to a local Elephant Sanctuary to experience a very special close-up encounter, where for 1-hour you can interact with and feed one of these gentle giants.

Note: There are no accessible toilets at the Elephant Sanctuary.
Days 2 To 3
Today is devoted to game viewing in the Kruger National Park. As you will have the services of a private driver/guide, you will have the flexibility of discussing preferred routings and travelling times with him each day, travelling in his closed air-conditioned vehicle. We recommend setting off early each morning as the camp gates open (05h00 to 06h00 depending on the season), to take advantage of the best game viewing conditions of the day.

Explore the famous Kruger National Park, which offer magnificent game viewing opportunities and the highest concentration of lion in the whole of Africa. Hope to see several of the Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino - as well as many other species, before stopping at a picnic spot or rest camp for lunch (own account) and more game viewing in the afternoon.

All game drives will be taken with your guide in his air-conditioned vehicle, although if you have upper body strength and can transfer into the front seat of a game viewing vehicle, for a supplement you can book shared open top game drives (these must be pre-booked).

With nearly 150 different species of mammals and over 100 species of reptiles in the Kruger National Park, you can hope to see cheetah, giraffe, hippo, kudu, crocodiles, sable antelope, waterbuck, warthogs, baboons, wild dogs and many other interesting animals. Outstanding bird watching is also guaranteed, with over 500 different bird species including eagles, kingfishers, vultures and storks.

Return to your lodge in the late afternoon and after a beautiful African sunset, enjoy the balmy evening and pristine stars of the Milky Way as you have never seen them before – as well as the spectacular Southern Cross.

Note: Vehicles are not allowed to drive off-road in any national park in South Africa. If you are tall and remain in your chair for your game drives, please be aware there will be some restrictions on your viewing due to the height of the windows in the accessible vehicle. There are no restrictions if you transfer into one of the regular seats. Children < 6 are not allowed on open top game drives.
Day 4
Today enjoy a drive through the green Blyde River Canyon - the third largest canyon in the world. Enjoy wonderful views from Pinnacle Rock, Wonder View and the Three Rondavels lookout.

We continue to Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre where you have the unique opportunity of viewing wild lion, leopard, cheetah, eagles and vultures at close quarters. Animals found injured, poisoned or orphaned are given a second chance and released back into the wild.

Note: Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is closed on Sundays.
Days 5 To 6
Continue experiencing the amazing wildlife of the Kruger National Park as we take game drives in our closed vehicle through another region of this vast sanctuary, which boasts many diverse habitats - each with its own flora & fauna.

We explore many side roads, dams and waterholes to discover animals not yet seen, as well as viewing many birds, reptiles and insects. At the end of each day enjoy another spectacular African sunset.
Day 7
Transfer to Mpumalanga Airport for your flight home.
